Food We Made: roasted chicken, mashed potatoes, gravy, roasted veggies, rolls, cranberry sauce, stuffing, sweet potato casserole with pecans, apple pie, pumpkin pie, and Oreo pie!

While Grandma and Grandpa were in town, we decided to celebrate an early Thanksgiving on November 11th. Grandma brought a few things from home, and we did a big shopping trip to gather the rest of the dinner supplies. When our Thanksgiving day came, we spent the whole day cooking, decorating, and crafting. The house smelled DELICIOUS!!!
Mom and I found curtains to use as tablecloths, and Grandma made a paper turkey for the centerpiece. We decorated our outdoor table with the limited supplies we had, and it turned out beautiful!
That evening, while we waited for our guests to arrive, us kids watched A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving.Pastor Ben soon arrived, followed by our friends Amelie and Mateo. We prayed and then feasted!! Thank you Jesus for family, adventures, and friends both new and old.
Until Next Time
~Love, Hannah
