Meet our cat Anchor!

Hey guys, it’s Hannah! Today I want to introduce you to our Costa Rican cat, Anchor.

When our family first arrived at our house in Costa Rica, we were greeted by a small, fluffy kitten who we soon named Anchor. He’s very sweet and friendly, loves taking long naps, gets feisty when he’s playing, and ALWAYS knows when it’s our breakfast and dinner time.

One of Anchor’s favorite things to do is knock seashells off our outdoor table and then run around the yard playing with them, it’s pretty adorable! We believe he has a home nearby since he’s well fed and taken care of, but we still give him dinner scraps because his meows are just too cute to ignore. We also keep a bowl of water out for him, even though he seems to prefer our pool!!

When we first met him, we guessed he was about three or four months old, since he was still small with a kitten face. Since then he’s grown quite a bit! The crazy thing is, Anchor looks almost identical to our cat Polly back home. We did a side-by-side photo of the two of them, and it’s kind of eerie just how much they look alike!

God is so good, and we’re so thankful for the small gift of Anchor
